Catch a Jazzy evening
In a destination famous for music and culture, the streets of the Sanur beach are swinging every night. No matter your age or interest, there is music for every ear at our Griya Beach Club at Griya Santrian.
With jazz, blues, pop straight-ahead and fusion styles played by some of the city’s best musicians, Sunday Mostly Jazz by the Beach continues to entertain jazz-hungry communities. Griya Santrian is envisioning to be one of the few spots in Bali with enthusiasts that include every ethnic group, local performers and old jazzheads. Though its quarters might be tight, this unpretentious spot has room for everyone.
The Jam Sessions during the Sunday Mostly Jazz Program is envisioned as a channel to fine tune quality and communication between musicians and jazz fans. Lead by Indonesian jazz icon, Indra Lesmana, the bi-weekly event presents an intimate acoustic format with other musicians such Sandy Winarta on drums, Indra Gupta on bass, Dennis Junio on saxophone and many more.
Together with Sanggar Musik Indra Lesmana, Griya Santrian presents several incredible jazz artists’ performances at our Griya Beach Club throughout the month of April and May. Immerse yourself in the beachfront décor (and delicious drinks) of our venue as you listen to the top list musicians, Indra Lesmana Group featuring artists Rio Febrian (April 24), Rio Sidik (May 8) and Andien (May 22).
