Well, that’s what the aussie tourists always say. I don’t get it tough. Is somebody bleeding in Kuta? hmm…I’m not a big fan of Bali touristy place, but have to admit, Kuta Beach and its ambiance has its magic spell that attracts people all over the world to taste the ‘bloodyness’ of this tourist mecca. The beach, shops, Hard Rock Hotel landmark with the giant blue surf board (a must photo shot for most of local tourists, and I have one pic of myself! :p ), overly priced mini-marts along the road – the place where most young locals hang out with Bintang beers, watching non stop scene of people passing by, Kamasutera Club, halfway spot with another mini mart + cafe, and this horrific buiding claiming to be “the biggest Jakarta club to be built in Bali” in the corner of Melasti Road and Kuta Beach..Kuta..Kuta..Kuta..
But last night Bart and I had really fun with our sightseeing in this area, our main intention was just doing an ice coldĀ beer Rendez-vous by the beach, but we stumbled upon this new food court with various food stall to offer where ALL the waitress will shout the menu at you at the same time, we felt like the place is on fire and everybody screaming : Run..! Run..! Run..!! Gee…I’ll never come back to this place, I couldn’t even have a chance to choose which food stall I’ll like if they’re like a lunatic screaming at me like that.
Escaping from that suffocating place, we then decided Pizza,Fresh Green Salad, Coca Cola Zero and Sparkling Strawberry Tea will be the best dinner choice, after all,it’s dinner time! And it’s none other than Pizza Hut, local franchise brand that has variety of topping and flavour, not a classic wood fire one, but enough to make my #TravelTuesday entertaining. And there goes away my bad mood…Thanks,Bart!
