Bali, 7 November 2014 – Hard Rock Hotel Bali was honored to win Gold trophy in Tsunami Certification Award by Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah Provinsi Bali (BPBD Prov. Bali; Disaster Management Agency in Bali Province) and Pusat Pengendalian Operasional Penanggulangan Bencana (Pusdalops Prov. Bali; Disaster Management Operational Control Center) in Badung Regency on Thursday, 30 October 2014. Held at the newly-refurbished Hall of Fame – Hard Rock Hotel Bali, the event was attended by more than 50 hoteliers, government executives, disaster management stakeholders and members of the press.

The trophy is awarded by Dewa Made Indra, the Chief Executive of BPBD Prov. Bali, “It is our responsibility to educate and facilitate the disaster management skills and know-how amongst the three elements; government, citizens and businesses,” said Bapak Dewa Made Indra. Bapak I Gede Sudiarta, Head of Certification Team and also Bapak IGM Jaya from Pusdalop Bali Province, led the Tsunami Certification Award with the audience attending the half-day event.
